Registration Information:

  • Registrations postmarked by October 1, 1998, are entitled to the early conference rate.
  • Please do not mail any registrations after October 12, but bring them with you to the conference for on-site registration.
  • AAC members receive a registration discount. You may join when registering and take advantage of the member rates.
  • Walk-in registration services will be available on Thursday evening (in the hospitality suite) and during the conference on Friday and Saturday.
  • Refund requests made prior to October 8, 1998, will be granted, subject to a $40.00 cancellation fee.
  • We recommend that you call the hotel to book your room immediately, 1-800-333-3333, as rooms will be in high demand.

Hotel Information: Our hotel is the Radisson Plaza Hotel, 60 South Ivanhoe Blvd., exit (Exit 42) in the heart of the city. Room rates are $95 for single or double occupancy. RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE DIRECTLY WITH THE RADISSON HOTEL BY SEPTEMBER 29th. Call 1-800-333-3333, or 407-425-4455. Remember to mention that you are reserving for the AAC conference. The Radisson has a 48 hour cancellation notice, so keep that in mind if an emergency arises. There is a covered car parking facility where you may either self-park or valet park. There is a charge for valet. There will be no charge for conference attendees who self-park.

Directions: From I-4, take Ivanhoe Blvd., exit (Exit 42), Then left onto Ivanhoe Blvd., and right into hotel. From Orlando International Airport, take 436 North, to East/West Expressway (toll) WEST, to I-4 east to Ivanhoe Blvd. exit (Exit 42), then left onto Ivanhoe Blvd., and right into hotel. From Florida's Turnpike, take 1-4 East (Interchange 259) to Ivanhoe Blvd. exit (Exit 42), then left onto Ivanhoe Blvd., and right into hotel.

Airport Shuttle: The Radisson Plaza Downtown Orlando is located approximately 20 minutes from the Orlando International Airport. Transportation is available to and from the hotel through Mears shuttle service. Transportation to the attractions is also available from the hotel. There are three airport locations on the baggage claim area with shuttles leaving every hour on the hour: "A" side @ American Airlines (carousel #5); "B" side @ United Airlines (carousel #8) ; and "B" side @ Delta Airlines (carousel #14). The cost is $21 round trip, or $12 one way. Mears requests that travelers make a return reservation from the hotel 24 hours in advance. Telephone for Mears is 1-800-759-5219 or 407-423-5566.
